This Operation Mincemeat – Operation Decal Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is governed exclusively by: (i) the laws of the United States for any Entrant who is a legal resident of the United States; and (ii) the laws of England and Wales for any Entrant who is a legal resident of the United Kingdom. You are not authorized to participate nor eligible to win a prize in the Sweepstakes if you are not located within the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or the United Kingdom.

1. DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01am British Standard Time (“BST”) on September 10, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59pm BST on September 30, 2024 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or the United Kingdom who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence as of the date of entry (the “Entrant”). Void outside of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia and United Kingdom, and where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. Officers, directors, managers, and employees of Glitzy Finale Limited Partnership (the “Sponsor”), and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies and their respective advertising and promotion agencies, consultants and agents, as well as immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each such person, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate. “Immediate family member” shall be deemed to mean husband, wife, children, mother, father, sister, sister in-law, brother or brother in-law. Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or the United Kingdom and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

3. HOW TO ENTER.

SOLVE THE PUZZLES: Decals will be placed on streets in select locations around New York City and Brooklyn, linking to QR codes with five (5) different Operation Mincemeat-related puzzles. These will all help you solve one (1) final puzzle. To enter the Sweepstakes, you will need to find the QR codes/links on the street or on social media, visit each of the five (5) links, complete all five (5) of the puzzles, and enter your submission for the final bonus puzzle #6, which will be linked on the same page as puzzle #5. The six (6) puzzles must be completed in their entirety by submitting all answers to the prompts. Upon completing the puzzles, click the “Submit” button. Upon clicking the “Submit” button, Entrant may be prompted to complete the entry form in its entirety to include first name, last name, and email address (if available) and click “Continue”. If prompted, entry form must be completed in order for Entrant to be eligible to win. Entrant should complete the entry boxes and click “Submit” to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. No more than one (1) entry per Entrant, and in the event an Entrant submits more than one (1) entry they will be disqualified. The puzzles must be completed by the close of the Sweepstakes Period. Those who solve all six (6) puzzles and “Submit” their entry, will be entered to win one (1) of several prizes. Details below.

4. DRAWING/ODDS. On or about October 2, 2024, potential prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the Sponsor. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor. Odds of winning a prize depends on the number of eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes in the Sweepstakes Period. By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

To be eligible to receive a prize, all Entrants must have provided an email address when prompted at the time of entry. In the event that an Entrant has an incomplete email address, the Entrant will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner will be selected in a random drawing.

5. PRIZES.

All prizes set out below (including without limitation all tickets, flights and accommodation, as and where applicable in accordance with these Official Rules) are subject to Operation Mincemeat opening on Broadway. In the case of unavailability of any prize (including because Operation Mincemeat does not open on Broadway, which for the purposes of this Sweepstakes will be deemed to be the case in the event Sponsor has not made an announcement confirming the opening of Operation Mincemeat on Broadway by no later than the date 6 months following the prize winners being selected), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly chosen and receive two (2) tickets to Operation Mincemeat on Broadway, for the Opening Night performance (date yet to be determined, pending potential Broadway run). Return Economy airfare to New York, NY & two (2)-night hotel accommodation in one room (room and tax only) for the Grand Prize winner and their guest will be provided and planned at the discretion of the Sponsor. Prize value is $3,458 USD. Tickets will be booked as a pair for the Opening Night performance and may not be split, or exchanged for an alternate date/time.

OTHER PRIZES: Fifty (50) eligible winners will be randomly chosen and receive two (2) tickets to the Dress Run for Operation Mincemeat on Broadway (date yet to be determined, pending potential Broadway run). Flight and accommodations not included. Prize value is $0. Tickets will be booked as a single ticket for the Dress Run performance and may not be exchanged for an alternate date/time.  

6. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Limit of one (1) prize per person/household. All prizes are non-transferable or assignable and no substitutions or cash redemptions; except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Blackout dates and restrictions apply. Not for resale.  Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Each prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income, and the Grand Prize winner (if a US resident) will receive an IRS Form 1099 at the end of the applicable calendar year for tax purposes and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS as required by law. Where applicable, the Grand Prize winner and their guest must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel and entry to the United States of America (USA). The prizes consist only of the elements expressly set forth in these Official Rules and no other elements or expenses are included and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of the winners. No more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. Each Entrant consents to the use of his/her name, city & state of residence, likeness, photograph, biographical information, and voice in any media throughout the world in perpetuity for purposes of advertising, online posting, Sweepstakes and publicity in connection with the Sweepstakes without additional compensation.

7. NOTIFICATIONS/CLAIMS.

Once confirmed, the winners will be announced prior to November 1, 2024 and notified by the Sponsor by email and/or phone (the “Notification”). If the selected winner does not respond to the Notification within five (5) business days of the Sponsor’s first notification or is unable to accept a prize in its entirety for any reason, the selected winner will forfeit such prize and such prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. By accepting a prize, each winner irrevocably grants Sponsor the right and permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner’s name, city & state of residence, prize won, biographical information, voice, photograph and/or likeness in any media throughout the world in perpetuity for purposes of advertising, online posting, Sweepstakes and publicity in connection with the Sweepstakes without additional compensation.

Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by the Sponsor or if the prize notification or prize is returned undeliverable, that prize will be forfeited and if time permits, at the discretion of the Sponsor, an alternate Entrant will be selected as the winner by random drawing from among the remaining entries. 

Sponsor shall not be liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of any winner’s use of its prize. All prize details, including delivery, are in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate this Sweepstakes at any time without prior notice. By entering the Sweepstakes, you conclusively are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Sweepstakes rules, terms, and conditions. This is an irrevocable condition of entry.

No compensation will be provided for any prizes that are not able to be awarded to a prize winner.

8. CONDITIONS. This Sweepstakes is conducted in English. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and the Abbreviated Rules or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, including, but not limited to: any entry form, survey, and/or point of sale, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants and prize winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities, which are final in all respects and not subject to appeal. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify permanently from this Sweepstakes any Entrant it believes has violated these Official Rules and verify eligibility of Entrants. Neither Sponsor nor anyone acting on its behalf will enter into any communications with any Entrant regarding this Sweepstakes, except as expressly set forth in these Official Rules. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants, and prize winners release the Sponsor and each and all of the Sweepstakes Entities, from any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes, and/or the receipt or use/misuse of any prize awarded, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, death or property damage. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. All Sweepstakes materials are subject to verification and are void if (a) not obtained in accordance with these Official Rules and through legitimate channels, (b) any part is counterfeited, altered, defective, damaged, illegible, reproduced, tampered with, mutilated or irregular in any way, (c) are obtained where prohibited, or (d) they contain printing, typographical, mechanical, or other errors. Entrants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of Sweepstakes materials submitted to Sponsor. Any normal internet/phone access and data/usage charges imposed by Entrants’ online/phone service will apply and are Entrants’ sole responsibility. In the event any portion of this Sweepstakes is compromised by activities beyond the control of the Sponsor which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes or this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and the other Sweepstakes Entities to use each prize winner’s name, city & state of residence, prize won, biographical information, voice, photograph and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity, for this Sweepstakes only, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by using unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrants, Sponsor, or Sweepstakes Entities. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and randomly draw from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date to award prizes.

9. NO LIABILITY. By participating, Entrants and prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by any Entrant, prize winner, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes, including related travel.  All Sweepstakes winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize.  

10. USE OF DATA. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about Entrants online in accordance with its Privacy Notice. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Notice.

11. DISPUTES; GOVERNING LAW.

In respect of any Entrant resident in the United States, each Entrant waives all rights to trial in any action or proceeding instituted in connection with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Sweepstakes. Any controversy or claim arising out of relating to these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of New York, City of New York. THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE INTERPRETATION OF THE TERMS HEREIN SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICT OF LAWS RULES. For any matters which are not subject to arbitration as set forth in these Official Rules and/or in connection with the entering of any judgment on an arbitration award in connection with these Official Rules and/or Sweepstakes, Entrant irrevocably submits and consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in or closest to New York County in the State of New York. Entrant agrees not to raise the defense of forum non conveniens.

In respect of any Entrant resident in the United Kingdom, these Official Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by English law, without regard to principles of conflict of law.  In respect of any controversy or claim arising out of relating to these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of English courts.

This Sweepstakes shall not be published without the written permission of the Sponsor.

Sponsor is committed to safeguarding and protecting Entrant’s Personal Data.  Below is a brief summary of how Entrant’s Personal Data will be processed.  Further information can be found in the group privacy policy of the Sponsor’s general partner: Privacy Policy - Avalon (avalonuk.com/privacy-policy)

The Sponsor will be processing the Personal Data Entrant provides Sponsor  including that which is required as set out in these Official Rules, and that which is related to and contained in Entrant’s Sweepstakes application: (a) for the administration of the Official Rules and Sweepstakes and communicating with Entrant about the same; (b) for compliance or legal obligations; (c) for promotional purposes as set out in these Official Rules in connection with the Sweepstakes in any media or formats worldwide in perpetuity. Entrant acknowledges that the Sponsor will need to share Entrant’s Personal Data internally, with affiliates and group companies (both in the US and the UK), and other third parties where in accordance with the Official Rules and Privacy Policy.

Such Personal Data may include Entrant’s name, address, contact details, likeness, photograph, biographical information, a copy of Entrant’s passport (if necessary, in the event Entrant wins the Sweepstakes for the purpose of administering the Grand Prize) and information about Entrant that is relevant for inclusion in publicity material as set out in the Official Rules.

Entrant expressly acknowledge that the lawful basis upon which Sponsor shall process Entrant Personal Data is for the purposes of (i) performance of these Official Rules and Sweepstakes (including this Privacy Notice and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy); and on the legal  basis that  (ii) the Sweepstakes has substantial public and commercial interest, (iii) it is a legitimate interest of Sponsor and the third parties referred to above, (for the advertising, online posting, Sweepstakes and publicity in connection with the Sweepstakes), which is not overridden by Entrant’s  interests,  rights and freedoms; (iv) for the processing referred to above, Sponsor and/or the above referred to third parties will need to process Entrant Personal Data to comply with their compliance or legal obligations.
